Training camps start Wednesday and preseason games start in less than a week.

Dea looked good from what I've heard. He had a few nice dishes and goals. Kuhnhackl and Payerl showed up. I expect both of them to get good looks. A little disappointed they let Sylvester go so quickly.

So fleury dropped off my wife's cousins season tickets. He played hockey with her son on the back deck. Probably just made himself a huge fan and a future goalie.

Given that the roster is pretty much set I think one of the more interesting things would be seeing how the young d guys hold up against Sid, Geno, Neal, Kunitz, Dupuis, Bennett, etc...

Really down on Pouliot at the moment. Seems like he's going to be more of a Goligoski. He'll need time in the AHL to find his game even after another year. That's my impression anyway.

Would be nice if Maatta or Harrington or Dumoulin could steal a spot in camp. Would also be nice if Niskanen brought something of value back.
